Welcome to the Hartford Chapter of American Singles Golf Association (HASGA)!

Policies

Policies are set so that everyone's expectations match up. Please take a few minutes to read over the policies that make our events run smoothly. We expect participants to be aware and observe the policies. Thank you for your respect and understanding.

• Have fun and make new friends

• We try to establish a 50-50 balance between golf activities and social activities.  Upcoming events are announced through blanket membership e-mails.

• USGA Rules of Golf govern all golf play.  Golf etiquette should be emphasized with both established and new golfers.

• Social etiquette should be observed as well.

• Rosters are printed and circulated for the benefit of members.  They are not to be used for commercial or business purposes.

• HASGA is a guest of the golf courses we play.  Repair green and fairway divots and respect the wishes of the ranger.  Observe the “rules of ready golf.”

• Members are expected to volunteer at club activities.  There are many different activities, events, and ways in which members can assist.  Many hands make light work.

• If, after committing to play in a club outing or participate in a club activity, you discover you are unable to attend, please notify the appropriate person as soon as possible. If a substitute is not found, payment will still be required.
